Between the two, which would make your pet more comfortable? Depending on its construction, most believe that metal is more durable that wood. Metal is definitely easier to clean and wood requires more maintenance. Generally, wooden rabbit hutches are less expensive. However, this tends to vary depending on the design and type of wood and metal used. While a metal cage look cuter than a wooden one, this is not advisable for outdoor use as it wouldn’t be able to protect your pet from the elements. Choosing one over the other really depends on your preference.
